Oaks Auckland Hotel

This is definitely my preferred space to come and stay while in Auckland. It is right in the centre of everything, one of the closest stays to Spark Arena and the wharf and overall just such a nice place to be. The breakfast is great - they have hot food available but it is not buffet (need to order at counter). But also the selection of continental is really good - highly recommend the coconut chia seed pudding. The rooms are small, but had everything I needed for a short stay. Parking is paid - which you get a lot cheaper for paying through the hotel vs booking online or at the parking stations. Although the parking is not attached, it is right next to the hotel so not far away at all. Highly recommend staying here and will absolutely keep returning to in the future

Easy check in and check out. Central location, clean, modern, great amenities, good price. Lovely breakfast. Provided good parking spot for our Van. Booked 2 rooms, were allotted close enough to each other as requested. Nice hotel in Auckland.

Amazing location. Literally next door to Spark Arena. Within walking distance to britomart, commercial bay, viaduct. Very close to woolworths a convenience store and places to eat. The 2 bedroom (actually 3) family apartments are good size and had all the basic necessities you would need for cooking/eating meals. It's great to have laundry facilities in the room as well. We stayed as we did Around the Bays, and it was great, as it is close to the start line, and the shuttle buses back dropped us off literally out the front. Parking is close $35 a night with unlimited entry/exit, but you have to go to reception every time you want to leave to get a card.

The location was great. Bed was comfortable. The room was not serviced when we want the room to be serviced. We were told it was to be done only the next day, which was a Wednesday. Toiletries were not replaced unless asked. Need to be cleaned edges as there were black spots which looked like was not cleaned regularly. I would stay there again because of the very obliging staff.

We got a room on the top floor on the other side of the hotel from the main road. It was nice and quiet, so had a fantastic sleep. Stayed on the main road side the week prior and the traffic noise kept me awake a lot of the night.
